Hannah’s bright spirit brought joy to her classmates, teachers, and the numerous families who were fortunate to know her. Her unexpected loss has left a significant void in our community, and the impact of her absence is keenly felt by all.
Hannah was a beacon of joy and kindness, radiating warmth in everything she did. With her infectious smile and laughter, she had an extraordinary ability to uplift those around her, making every moment spent with her truly memorable. As a student, she exemplified curiosity and compassion, welcoming everyone into her circle with open arms. Her friendships with classmates reflected her caring nature, and her teachers appreciated her eagerness to learn and bright outlook on life. The love and joy she shared with everyone will be cherished and remembered.
During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt support to Hannah’s mother, Ashley St. Cyr, a valued member of our community who has selflessly served on the board of Kadimah Scholars at Park. Ashley’s dedication to enhancing Jewish education and values through her work has been an inspiration to many. Our thoughts are particularly with her, her husband Doug, and their entire family as they navigate this unimaginable sorrow. The St. Cyr family’s deep ties within our community amplify their loss, and we stand united with them during this painful time.
As a Jewish community, we find strength in one another during moments of grief. The values of compassion and support are central to our beliefs, and in times like these, we hold each other close. To honor Hannah’s life and legacy, a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Temple Beth Tzedek, located at 1641 N. Forest Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed, allowing everyone to join together in remembrance and support from afar at btzbuffalo.org.
Additionally, the community is invited to participate in Shiva on Sunday from 3:00–5:00 PM at the home of Bruce and Marianne Wisbaum, Ashley’s parents, located at 60 Contessa Ct., Williamsville, NY 14221. This gathering will provide a space for friends and family to come together, share their grief, and celebrate Hannah’s life, finding comfort in one another’s presence and shared memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Hannah’s name to The Park School of Buffalo Scholarship Fund. This thoughtful gesture will help honor her legacy and support future students, reflecting the community and educational values that Hannah embodied so beautifully.
