Zulewski, age 51, of Riverview, Michigan, who died peacefully in his home on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. A man known for his boundless love for his family, his incredible sense of humor, and his zest for life, Andrew leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
Born to Larry and Vicki Zulewski, Andrew was raised in a home filled with love, strong values, and a spirit of community that would come to define much of his own life. He shared a close bond with his brother, Scott (Erin) Zulewski, and was a devoted uncle to Zack and Ellie, playing an active and joyful role in their lives. Andrew’s proudest role in life was being a father. His enduring love and commitment to their well-being was a guiding force in his life, and his presence in their lives will continue to be felt in every cherished memory, every shared inside joke, and every lesson he imparted.
He also shared a lasting bond with Shelley Zulewski, the mother of his children, with whom he built a loving and supportive foundation for their family. Andrew’s joy only multiplied with the arrival of his grandson, Theodore, who brought a new dimension of happiness into his life and with whom he quickly formed an unbreakable bond. A man of many passions, Andrew was a self-proclaimed foodie, known for his love of culinary exploration.
Whether it was experimenting with new dishes at home, planning his next trip around must-try restaurants, or encouraging his kids to expand their palates, food was more than just nourishment to him — it was a shared experience and a celebration of culture and family. His adventurous spirit also led him to travel, and he delighted in discovering new places and flavors across the country and beyond. From hole-in-the-wall diners to renowned eateries, Andrew saw every trip as an opportunity to learn, laugh, and live fully.
Andrew’s quick wit and love of trivia made him the life of every game night. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of TV shows and movies and never missed a chance to slip a perfectly timed quote into a conversation — a trait that brought countless smiles and laughter to those around him. His humor was his signature, and his ability to lighten any situation was a gift that will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his beloved children, Sebastian, Emma, Claire, Kate, and Alex, all of Riverview, and their mother, Shelley Zulewski. Andrew was a proud grandfather to Theodore. He is also survived by his loving parents, Larry and Vicki Zulewski, and his brother Scott (Erin) Zulewski. Andrew was a cherished uncle to Zack and Ellie Zulewski.
A celebration of Andrew’s life will be announced by the family in the coming days.
